Phase Three – Project Management / Field Engineering
Overview: Implement the “Master Technology Plan” by administrating contractor / vendor activities throughout Construction; Testing / Turn up and Service Delivery. Provide oversight of day-to-day construction activities.
- Project Plan - Develop a detailed project plan for implementation and maintain the appropriate scheduling necessities pertaining to all technology supplier, contractor and/or vendor activities.
- Work from the “Technology Master Plan” Established in Phase Two to Define and Outline Appropriate Responsibilities for all Vendors to Ensure all Services, their Platforms and their Interconnection Needs are Allocated
- Put Together a Project Plan Incorporating all Entities Work Plan and their Interactive Scheduling
- Introduce and review development plan with all
- Administration / Oversight - Work with selected vendors in a “Project Management” role to implement all the applications / solutions. Identify and address any integration needs.
- Set Up Initial and Ongoing Project Meeting/s and Document Agreed Upon Activities / Results
- Escalation / Value Engineer - Track, and if necessary escalate and/or make necessary adjustments to, scheduled tasks and deliverables to eliminate or minimize any negative effects.
- Attend Regularly Scheduled Construction, Design Review and Project Status Meetings Representing the Technology Portions of the Overall Development
- Manage Project Planning, Tracking Installation Efforts, Time lines, On-site Coordination Efforts, Progress & Quality
- Coordinate Communications and Project Efforts Between Contractors and Multiple Entities Throughout the Installation Process
- Change Management - Control change using an approved change management process.
- Address and Manage Any / All Issues that Could Have an Effect on Timelines, the Financial Budget or Service Delivery Commitments
- Prepare Scheduled and Special Request Reports: Weekly Project Reports, Usage Reports, Performance Reports, Etc.
- Insure Proper Documentation of Ongoing Issues
- Track and Compare to Obligations Described in any Agreements
- Testing / Turn-up / Training - Oversee testing, community service turn-up, and the establishment of end user training or instructional documentation.
- Sign Off on All Contractual Requirements
- Documentation - Ensure adequate policies and procedure/processes along with necessary documentation are in place for the technology services.
